To Be Literate Digitally is a Remarkable Success.

Living in a modern world is not so easy because of the new gadgets and trends that are available everywhere. Our world is now a high-tech world. We have our digital materials everywhere. But still, we need to be proficient in English in order to be talented digitally.

Because the English language is universal, every gadget had been set-upped using the English as their medium. We cannot be genius in something that is foreign to us. So to be literate in the digital world, we must know English. Expertise in English is needed so we can be tech-savvy. We had been taught since kindergarten the importance of English. And now, as time goes by, we need to upgrade to higher ground. Like in our school, we are promoting digital awareness by constructing programs including technology. These programs allow students to be profoundly intercepted with the world using different gadgets and technology. As soon as technology dawned, our school upgraded. The library which is full of books has now a counterpart, the electronic library. In this way, the students use computers to interact in different social sites and learn English as they continue to explore and search for further amenities.

As a student, learning the lope of technology is a new beginning. We already know the basics of English that’s why to learn more, we upgrade. Thanks to our administration, we are given the chance to compete for better education.

Chemergy: Chemistry and Science Clubbing in Synergy.

Chemergy: Chemistry and Science Clubbing in Synergy

There’s a famous quotation that goes like this, “No man is an island.” A brief yet astounding quote that generalizes life. The quote does not only imply to humankind nor only living things yet it can be connected to everything that is present in our world. We can only achieve a great end-product if we help each other. So that the outcome will be greater than the sum of the individual products produced by a single personage, we need to undergo synergy. And that’s what Chemergy is all about.

Science is a grandiose association. It has innovative things that are helpful to our society. But nowadays, we need to have new discoveries in order to line up with what our world is currently facing, lack of new inventions. We can’t deny the fact that our world is now aging, and our scientists seem to come to an end in discovering new things. We, students, as science clubbers, are doing our bests in order to contribute artifacts to the Science and Technology department. But this is not enough. That’s why we need Chemistry to combine with Science, thus, Chemergy. The theme means the power of cooperation of chemistry and science in working together to produce a result not obtainable by chemistry alone or by science alone. They need each other in order to produce a certain kind of result. Thus without the other one, the desired result cannot be achieved.

Hopefully, with the help of Chemergy, our world will reign once again and be an extreme knowledgeable world. The fusion of Chemistry and Science to a finer progress of Chemergy.

Heroes of Today: Who deserves the title?

Life, as we know, is full of chaos and confusion. But thanks to our heroes, they made life more bearable and affable. But who are these heroes I am talking about?

Our world was once a desert. No buildings, no streets, no structures. Our dearest architectures and engineers did their bests to give us a shelter. Our world was once a land of famine. No plants, no vegetables, no crops. Our agricultural engineers and farmers made way to yield better crops, a nutritious food to us. Our world was once a jail, the home of criminals. The policemen and military forces underwent synergy and taught us what safety is. Our world was once a naked being. The fashion designers and tailors gave us clothes to wear. Our world was once a world without justice. Our lawyers and attorneys defended and shouted for our rights. Our world was once full of viruses and bacteria, but thanks to our doctors, pharmacists, nurses and dentists for they prescribed us medicines and treated us well. Our world was once a dungeon of sinners. The priests, nuns, ministers and pastors evangelized and told the truth about God. Our world was once a stranded island. No place to go, not  thing to be sighted. Our pilots, drivers and captains took us to far away lands. Our world was once a dull world. The entertainers and movie stars came to life and made us laugh. Our world was once a boring place. The scientists, chemists, mathematicians and alchemists developed theories and invented gadgets for us to enjoy the luxuries of earth. Our world was once an innocent child. Our teachers saved us from ignorance and illiteracy, Among the said professions and careers, who's the greatest? Is it the teachers, the medical team, the military or the stewards? For a student's point of view, I can tell even if I'm in blindfolds. We were born with ignorance, everybody had been. We would have not reached what we are now without learning the virtues of life, in short, education. As the vibrant motto goes, "Education is the key to success." Our engineers, doctors and lawyers once had been under a guiding hand of a mighty teacher. Yes, we had gone from being illiterate to genius citizens. All thanks to our heroes, our teachers.

As stated from some teachers, being a teacher is difficult. You must work from dawn to dusk. You must learn to multitask. But the greatest gift that no man can ever surpass is education. Students, let us take importance of our teachers' teachings. Dear teachers, don't ever forget, you are our heroes. Yes, you are the world's almighty pride!

My Own Justice League. :">

In our society nowadays, it is not impossible for impractical things to be feasible. We are now living in a world full of ambiguities that those mere things are already being developed. We are now living in a world wherein super humans are not to be unthinkable phantoms rather a thing to be desired and admired.
In our lives, we meet and mingle with lots of persons with bizarre attitudes, outlooks and personalities. Yet there is always that time wherein those persons are the ones whom we look up to. I have a unique scrutiny regarding those super humans spinning around my world. They are not related to Super Man, Batman or Cat Woman yet they have dashing, uplifting and remarkable personalities that can never be beaten by those powerful heroes that we have. They have enough strength to save you from your evil enemies. They have the power to spellbind and hypnotize you even without noticing it. They have the power to read minds just by looking at you. They can always be there 24/7 to make you happy. See? They are like our modern heroes, except the power to fly. Yes. Like the super heroes are my friends, the Arbacafefofro, and my family. Like a modern hero, they are always there to enlighten me and to give me pure love, even in the darkest times.
Friendship and family They are our own super heroes. Let us not take them for granted rather implant another seed in their hearts, our love. Let us always be united for the greater glory of God.

PNoy's Second State of the Nation Address

It is the president's responsibility to inform its countrymen about what is happening in the surrounding. Every year, the president of a country states his/her accomplishments throughout the year. This is what we call "State of the Nation Address".

Last July 25, 2011, our president, Mr. Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino delivered his speech regarding the happenings in our beloved country. He portrayed the complete elimination of his so-called "wang wang". The use of wang wang as a metaphor in the president's SONA to represent the bribery and dishonesty of the past governments and abuse of power is suitable and apposite. The president stated that if we have already exterminated the use of wang wang in the road, how much more can we eradicate the corruption embarked in our economy? We can lessen or better yet, remove the corruption by uniting hand in hand, until one day, we can lead our prospering country at once. Another good news found in his SONA is that the percentage of poverty in our society is already deteriorating. Our president, whom we find doing nothing, is actually doing everything in order to upgrade our economical status. He spoke with integrity and power yet with that down-to-earth tone, it conveyed us the message that he spoke from his heart and with sincerity.

After his delivery of the SONA, he gained more trust from the Filipinos because of the crystal clear improvements of our economy. Not only can we now dream, and only but to dream, but also make these dreams the foundation of reality. Soon, Philippines will be a first-class country.

Nutrition month: A month for babies.

As soon as the first day of July came in view in the calendar, students as well as teachers can’t help but to feel the excitement dashing in their veins. For once again, the nutrition month will be held. This time, the theme is “Isulong ang breastfeeding, tama, sapat at eksklusibo.”
Regarding this matter, the theme is all about improving the chances of mothers to breastfeed their babies. This month, our number one goal is to make an impression to the mothers that the classic can never be beaten by the modern. What I mean is, the inherited tradition of breastfeeding is always better than the branded milks. To influence mothers to use breastfeeding than branded milks must be our advocacy. It has infinite number of vitamins, proteins and calcium that can help babies to grow perfectly. Drinking our mother’s milk is the best way to replenish a broken wound caused by the infinite pollutes of our environment. Let us remind our mothers that branded milks are never and will never be the answer for a better future. If we want that the infants will grow beautiful and healthy babies, then let us remind mothers that they must always use their magical potion, which is the breast milk.

However, students are hoping that somehow, this month’s programs will be successful and must be fully enjoyable.

A LETTER TO THE ALMIGHTY.

Dear Mr. President,

I greet you a pleasant day Sir. My beloved school, Ilocos Sur National High School, required us to write a letter to you. And if my letter is lucky enough to be read by you, then you can see and hear out my sentiments and expressed thoughts and feelings regarding our country from an average student like me.

As I write this letter, I can't help but feel pity towards my fellowmen. After the deathof your mother, the late Corazon Cojuangco Aquino, you went into a complicated situation for you ran for the seat for presidency. Most of the Filipinos said that you garnered the "pity votes", the rest oppposed them and said that you are indeed a great future leader and you deserve their votes. You acquired the President's chair about a year and a month ago. Filipino citizens thought that you will save the country from the hands of ex-president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's bad leadership when in fact, you'll just add more wood on the burning charcoal. I am not against your Sir, but I am just aware of what's happening arond me. One of the problems in our country is justice. Our country lacks justice. One can only achieve justice when he has the power and money. What then will happen to the less fortunate when the truth is blinded from the smoke grenade? None of course Sir. They can do nothing but to be deaf, mute and blind. They just wait until the One from above gets their life and plans bengeance against the dirty hands of the enemies. Then, that will be the end. Been done, but never been settled. That's how life goes to your countrymen Mr. President. Another thing that boogles my mind a lot Sir is the liberated minds of young teens. I'd likely not to discuss this matter but somehow, the quality of education for these young boys and girls are already deteriorating time after time. They are like to be in a relationship, wear skimpy shorts, drink alcohol, smoke, play computer games or do whatever they want than to be serious and attend their classes. Maybe Sir, you can instruct teachers to help these rebellious teens to internalize what they teach. They don't even know what being tact and delicate is. These teens don't know how to behave and some of the things they do opposes Filipino traditions and culture. You wouldn't like that Mr. Preseident, would you? But behind all these commotions Sir, I still put my full trust in you that you can do more. I can do more. Filipinos can do more. All of us can do more. We can get what we expect when all of us unite. By the way Sir, I have no issues regarding the things I have said, but as a keen observer, I observe all.

Thank you very much Mr. President. God bless you Sir and more power!

Sincerely yours,

Caryl Keith A. BanayosIV-Marconi
